Wills & Probate.

Around 6 in 10 UK adults don't have a will. Putting one in place protects the people you love.

/ Overview

Your will, your way.

When it comes to sorting out what happens to your estate after you're gone, we make it easier. Making a will isn't just for those with significant wealth — it's about making sure your loved ones are taken care of and your wishes are honoured.

Our friendly team is here to help whether you're not sure where to start, need advice, or want to update what you've already got. We'll help you put your wishes down on paper in a way that's legally sound and easy to understand.

Wills and probate are not No Win No Fee matters. We work to clear fixed fees or agreed hourly rates, and we confirm the cost in writing in your client care letter before any chargeable work starts.

/ Frequently asked

Questions, answered.

01Why do I need a will?+
Without a will, the rules of intestacy decide who inherits your estate — which may not match your wishes, particularly for unmarried partners, stepchildren, or specific assets you want to leave to named beneficiaries.
02What is probate?+
Probate is the legal process of administering a deceased person's estate — proving the will (or, where there isn't one, the intestacy), valuing assets, settling debts and tax, and distributing what's left to beneficiaries.
03How much does a will cost?+
We offer fixed-fee wills with no hidden charges. Your fee, what it includes, what it excludes, and any likely disbursements are confirmed in writing before you instruct us, in line with the SRA Transparency Rules.
04Is this No Win No Fee?+
No. No Win No Fee applies to our compensation claims work only. Wills, probate and estate planning are charged on a fixed-fee or hourly basis, agreed with you in advance.
05Can you store my will?+
Yes. We offer secure document storage so your will is held safely and can be retrieved when needed.
06Do you also prepare Lasting Powers of Attorney?+
Yes. An LPA sits alongside your will and covers decisions made during your lifetime. You can read more on our dedicated Lasting Power of Attorney page.
