Irresponsible Lending.
Given a loan, credit card or mortgage you couldn't really afford? You may be owed.
What is irresponsible lending?
Irresponsible lending happens when a lender gives you a loan without making sure you can actually afford it. They're supposed to check things like your income, credit score, and existing debts. The problem hit its peak during the 2008 global economic crisis, but its effects are still causing financial stress for UK borrowers today.
If you've had any credit card, store card, secured or unsecured loan, car finance agreement, payday loan or mortgage active in the last 6 years, we'll check them for potential credit breaches.
We operate on a No Win No Fee basis via a Conditional Fee Agreement (CFA) or Damages Based Agreement (DBA). You only pay our legal fees if we successfully obtain compensation for you, with the success fee capped at a fixed percentage of your winnings.
